Nicholas
Greatly enjoyed a private safe, central heating, and a work desk in the room. The staff was all really helpful and gentle. Besides, the location was exceptionally nice and decent for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of Villette. The area was cosmopolitan adjacent to the metro station and Gare du Nord, northern suburbs and the famous cathedral.

Exceptionally nice and decent location, 4 km from city centre. Cosmopolitan area, 300 metres to Stalingrad metro station.

Newly decorated and reasonably priced hotel with gentle staff at the reception desk, appreciated our staying. Nearby a subway station, the location was perfect and best possible, to the famous cathedral. In the evening we went to Noha Little India, located at walking distance from the property.
We needed to have fresh fruit.

Exceptionally comfortable beds, central heating, satellite TV and a study table in the room. Decent absolutely perfect location, outside of the city centre. Based adjacent to many shops and restaurants.

Whatever you need is this beautifully maintained and recently renovated room with all facilities and a fan. The interior is modern and design is contemporary.

The queen room was functional and had TV set with satellite channels, central heating, and an individual safe. The private bathroom. The location was perfect and exceptionally nice, short walk to Stalingrad Metro station and Montmartre and Stalingrad metro, thoroughly enjoyed this place. We had lunch in La Rotonde Stalingrad, located nearby;)))

The hotel staff were friendly and polite, providing good customer service throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the hotel offered a good value for money breakfast option. The hotel's location was also a positive aspect, as it was close to public transport and within walking distance of a main train station.
It felt dodgy and unsafe, with people rummaging through bins and unwelcoming characters roaming the streets, especially at night. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning in the hotel made it difficult to sleep during the hot nights, which impacted our overall experience negatively.

I stayed for 8 nights and thought that it was good value - didn't mind being part of "Petit Senegal" and actually enjoyed being part of "normal; day to day Parisian lives".Room had recently been renovated and was clean and well maintained. No problems getting to 4th floor - lift (elevator) was new, but did the spiral staircase for exercise! Inner room - very quiet, double-glazed windows worked well. Wifi internet was good extra.
Only minor complaint was wifi has heavy "nanny" filter - did not allow photo uploads to standard sites such as Flickr - though Facebook did work.

Budget price for Paris. Location near the Stalingrad metro was great. Also only 1 stop from Gare de Nord. Colourful location with mixed african, north african population near Canal de La Villelette and Canal St Martin with all the great restaurants and cinemas. Short walk to Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie.
Room off the courtyard at the back was good but hot. Neighbours overlooking the courtyard were often noisy. C'est la vie, that's life in any city...

It was a perfect place, had excellent and amiable staff at the reception desk.
I didn't find fresh fruit, so was a little disappointed.

Decent and perfect location in Paris, near to Paris for a stop over, walking distance to Gard du Nord also and supermarket nearby. Great value unit with a contemporary decor.

relaxing, fairly clean place with really helpful and excellent staff at the reception desk. comfy and decent location close to public transport, in the central area.
No fresh fruit at all.

The connected family room was spacious and had a view of Sacre Couer. Restaurants, metro and grocery close by. Beds comfortable. One metro stop from Gare du Nord. Park and playground across the street.
Felt snug, nothing too much trouble.

The location was exceptionally nice and decent, near a metro station with easy access to a market and a convenience shop. The queen room was functional, very comfy bed.

The hotel is well-kept, and the family who owns it are proud of their hotel, and they are friendly and helpful. We were staying nine days, so they automatically upgraded us to one of their nicest rooms, at no extra charge. Also, we arrived in the morning, and they allowed us to check in early. While we were waiting for the few minutes that it took them to get our room ready for us, we enjoyed coffee and juice at the small bar/ cafe that is part of their hotel. Very sweet, accommodating hosts, and our maid was lovely. It is a very short walk to the Metro,(Stalingrad station), and there is a large market and a delicious little boulangerie extrememly close by.
The hotel is lovely, but the surrounding area is very sketchy. (Burned out buildings, lots of graffitti, etc.) The front hotel rooms have a view of Sacre Coure, but traffic can be noisy at night. There were two nights when we had to shut the window and be hot, rather than stay up all night from the noise from some dumb kids lighting off fireworks in the public park across the way. It is far from the Paris sights, in a very ethnic neighborhood, but it's an easy Metro ride into the city proper.
Tourists from New Zealand often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
